Kindergarten Enrichment is a program that is offered on select days during the Kindergarten/3rd year of the preprimary program. In addition to the continuation of their Montessori cycle of learning, children in their Kindergarten/ 3rd year will experience a variety of programs to enhance our existing curriculum. The Kindergarten Enrichment Program is designed to give the children an introduction to some of the events they are likely to encounter once they graduate and enter first grade. It is designed to aid in the transition to a new environment and continue their preparation for a lifetime of learning.
In addition to attending an advanced Spanish class, children will attend a weekly special enrichment lesson or program. This will include but not be limited to special visitors who will share their life experiences and knowledge, field trips, Fun and Fitness, Master Gardening, theatre and drama and specialty sessions designed by one of our pre primary teachers. Children will be encouraged to cook, create and learn about the world around them at an age appropriate level in the company of their peers.
